The Atlantic Lodge #221, George Washington Essay Contest is an annual event, where area school children have an opportunity to win prizes, recognition and learn about one of the country's founding fathers, General George Washington, who was also a Master Mason. This event also celebrates an area Teacher of the Year, who also has an opportunity to be chosen the 23rd Masonic District's Teacher of the year and NJ Masonic State Teacher of the Year. This event was created by our Worshipful Brother Thomas Partin, PM (Past Master, 2005)
